Review: Ink
Ink by Isabelle Rowan
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3.5 stars. Interesting story about a vampire and a tattoo artist. I liked Michael and Dominic enough but the book didn't really pick up for me until about halfway through when Dominic's maker returns. (and by the end, I was more interested in Galen's character)

Review: Sounds of Love
Sounds of Love by Susan Laine
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3.5 stars. Loved the beginning, but lagged a bit for me in the middle. Didn't really see the point of the secondary relationship (maybe if the book was longer or setting up for a sequel?) since it didn't really add much to the story. I did love Jordon though. :)
(and is it just me, or do the guys on the cover look really young?)

Review: An Alpha's Pride
An Alpha's Pride by Stormy Glenn
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
I liked these characters by the ending, but there was just too much I couldn't like about them for most of the book. (mostly Daniel...and I hated how the author tried to make him more sympathetic after he was such a jerk. somehow I didn't really feel much sympathy for him)
Will read the next in the series since I did like the end of this one. (and I seem to be strangely addicted to siren books...)

Loving this gorgeous weather!
It was over 70 degrees today. In New England. IN MARCH!! (really, the world is going to end!) Just grilled up some hot dogs and burgers for my kidlets on our new grill (lost the other one in a crazy wind storm a few months back) and now watching 'Tangled' for the hundredth or so time.
Need something new to read, but not really sure what I'm in the mood for yet. I have a bunch of already bought books on my kindle, but there's a few new ones out I really want. (can we say no willpower? this is why dieting never works for me!)
Really want; Eden Winters Diversion
Susan Laine's Sounds of Love looks pretty good (though the guys on the cover look really young? or is that just me?)
and SE Culpeppers Question Mark
all on my 'to-buy' list, but I have so many books already! (but don't they all look so good?)

St. Paddy's Day....and sickness
Had a fun St. Paddy's Day, but think I spent too much time outside near the fire pit because the sinus infection I have right now is laying me out. I actually called out of work today. (actually, I walked into work, got the evil eye for even thinking of spreading my germs, and got sent home)
(me and my husband to be hamming it up for the camera)

Review: Let Sleeping Wolves Lie
Let Sleeping Wolves Lie by Tielle St. Clare
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
4 stars. Just reread this and enjoyed it even more the second time. Hoping Reese and Micah get their own book too. :)

Review: The Rebuilding Year
The Rebuilding Year by Kaje Harper
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3-3.5 stars. Great writing and I enjoyed the characters, but for some reason the romance fell a little short for me. There wasn't much build up to them suddenly kissing and wanting each other. Story was enjoyable though and I'm looking forward to the author's next book.

I'm a Barbie Girl
Hanging out with my little girl (who's a little over 2) today. She's basically taken over my new smart phone and is listening to that old song 'Barbie Girl' over and over. (and over...and over...and over...)
And my willpower sucks. I bought Kaje Harper's new book last night. (and SE Culpepper's newest is next on the list!) Doesn't matter that I have a bunch of already bought books waiting for me to read on my kindle.

new blogger image!
new banner for my blog. hopefully it motivates me to post! (and, damn! i miss you photoshop!)
sorry for party rockin...
First time trying to post from my pretty kindle fire. See that title? My children are obsessed with that song (and video). Though at least I don't have to listen to 'Poker Face' for the thousandth time. (their other obsession...Lady Gaga)
So I really never post anything but my little goodreads reviews. Let's see if I can update this thing with other stuff once in awhile. My reading list lately has consisted of Lynn Hagen's 'Brac Pack' series. yeah, I know. It's like fluffy crack for my brain. Sometimes you just want some fluff with no real substance. (brain candy?) Anyways, those bastards at Siren Publishing made some cash from me. (and ps-who is their cover artist? I could do better than that and I've never made cover art before!)
Grandma has my kidlets tonight so I'm planning on relaxing in front of the fire while the fiance plays ps3. (though I think I want to buy a new book...Kaje Harper's newest came out this week and I waaant)

Review: Marked Yours
Marked Yours by Elizabeth Noble
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
4 stars. Glad the free short whetted my appetite for more of this couple. Interesting 'new' world with it's own set of rules and regulations. Looking forward to reading more of these guys (and from this author!).
